Norfolk status
Scarce.
Not a true member of the Pugs (the male lacks the sclerotised plate on the underside of the abdomen) Adult moths occasionally come to light with larvae found feeding on Yellow Loosestrife from July to September.

Records mostly from the Norfolk Broads with only a few sightings most years.

Adult and Larvae recorded in West Norfolk at Boughton Fen (Wheeler, Millard, 2010) first VC28 record for many years.

Recorded in 18 (24%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1873.
Last Recorded in 2024.
