Norfolk status
Scarce.
Coastal sand-dunes and dune-slacks, wandering into saltmarsh areas. Has never been recorded far away from the coast.

Characteristic long narrow forewing and contrasting pale
hindwing.

The moth's vernacular name derives from the larval foodplant, Lyme-grass (Elymus arenarius)
