Norfolk status No confirmed Norfolk records. It is believed that this species does not occur in Norfolk.
Very similar to July Belle (luridata) usually occurring on acid heathland and rough pasture where the foodplant occurs.
The former criteria for separation from July Belle (ground colour and position of the discal spot which can be 'tear shaped') are not reliable, therefore examination of the genitalia is required for identification.
Please retain possible specimens for identification.
Verification Grade Comment: Believed that this species does not occur in Norfolk | Determination by Genitalia Examination (gen. det.) Required | |
