Grapholita funebrana
Plum Fruit Moth

Norfolk status
Widespread.
Blackthorn hedges and orchards and gardens where plums and damsons are grown.
Known to fruit growers as the plum fruit moth or red plum maggot, this species is a sporadic pest in plum orchards.

Attracted to FUN pheromone lure. On first trial in 2011, 58 specimens where lured in a garden at Cawston from the 1st May to 22nd Sept. (J. Clifton, 2011).

Several additional species are attracted to the FUN lure intended for Grapholita funebrana.
